Marianna Fox

Marianna Fox's photographic and mixed media work is seen from the eyes of a world traveler. Each series is a
story filled with exploration and history.

Her recent BLACK WATER/LAVA series showed the summer of 2010 at the James Salomon Gallery in East Hampton NY, and Merz Gallery, Sag Harbor 2009. Taken from stunning up-close photos these abstract contemporary pieces became huge success. Shot in NYC and Italy.

Previous to that Marianna showed at the Lurie-Kavachnina Gallery in the Wynwood Arts District in Miami during "ART BASEL 09'" featured her exciting "Cassius Clay, boxing series". This show continued onto become a one Woman show at The "Fight Club Miami" and onto the Lurie gallery in Beverly Hills and "The Gallery" in
Sunset Plaza L.A.

As a model being featured on the cover of DETAILS MAGAZINE In 1989, she felt pushed in a new direction by the limits of FASHION semiotics. Her work in performance art In NYC (nineties scene meccas: Surf Reality, Collective Unconscious, Exit Art Gallery, Fringe Festival) informed her previous FASHION work in PARIS, MILAN, and photography center DUSSELDORF.

She is creating work at the nexus of FILM (her songs appeared in Steven Baldwin's movie Bound by Lies), And performance pieces, like the "New Oath" event Done for the CLINTON ADMINISTRATION, and her Sci-Fi Circus done in the MIDDLE EAST.
