Over 70 Visual artists Participate in 4-day Public Exhibit in TriBeCa

TOAST (TriBeCa Open Artist Studio Tour) is a free, self-guided tour of 70 artists studios throughout TriBeCa. Originally called Franklinfest, TOAST is now a 501(c) 3 artist-run organization providing a unified voice for the TriBeCa creative community.

Once per year TOAST members satiate national interest in the TriBeCa art scene by opening up their creative work spaces to the general public.

Last year over 70 artists participated, generating a four-day shared exhibit extending throughout TriBeCa.

Inbetween hosting this annual public group exhibition, TOAST's web site showcases the work of its members, and provides links to their web sites.

visual artists working in TriBeCa can become members of TOAST. As a member, all tasks are voluntary. The board of directors is comprised of 6 artists with a wide range of experience in education, publicity and social service. Members can volunteer to assist in the preparation and promotion of the TOAST weekend April 23, 24, 25 & 26th 2010.
